Spring Clean-Up
The WeissEarley Spring Clean-Up annual service addresses your entire property, unless otherwise specified. Our crew will perform the following services:
- Winter protection will be removed from ornamentals and any winter damage will be pruned as needed. Beds and tree rings will be thoroughly cleaned of leaves and debris. Grasses and perennials will be cut back if needed.
- Edging of ornamental beds will be performed with the intent of not enlarging the bed size. Hard surfaces and curb lines are also edged at this time.
- Corn Gluten meal is applied to all beds prior to re-mulching. Corn Gluten is an organic pre-emergent weed control that provides excellent control of many common weeds.
- Aged hardwood bark mulch is applied to your ornamental beds at a 2 inch depth. Extra care is taken to keep mulch away from tree trunks and shrub bases.
- Any winter damage to the lawn is repaired during the Spring Clean-Up process.
