Charles J. Weiss received his Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the State University of New York. He also received his A.A.S. in Landscape Development from the State University of New York in 1989.
Career Achievements
- Developed and maintained client relationships with elite builders and key developers in NW Pennsylvania, resulting in significant repeat sales.
- Designed and managed multiple projects recognized by the Builders Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania for the Award of Excellence.
- As a Landscape Designer & Salesman, Weiss was responsible for over $750,000 sales annually. The average project Weiss designed and oversaw was $18,000. He also co-managed 140 grounds maintenance clients with gross sales of over $350,000.
- During his 16 years of past experience with one employer, Weiss was instrumental with increasing their sales from $600,000 to $2.1 million.
- Weiss has researched, developed, and implemented many business plans, such as: current estimating and job tracking systems, employee incentive and profit share programs, landscape design/build client procedures, and employee procedures and handbook documentation.
Weiss is also involved in many professional affiliations. He is a business member of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America, Builders Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania, and the Washington Township Planning Commission.
